Why this happens
Levothyroxine is a synthetic thyroid hormone, and losartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) used for blood pressure. They work through entirely different pathways in the body and do not interfere with how the other is absorbed, broken down, or excreted.
What you should do
You can continue taking both medications as prescribed. It is generally recommended to take levothyroxine on an empty stomach, at least 30 to 60 minutes before breakfast, to ensure it is absorbed properly. Losartan can be taken with or without food at any time of day, as long as you are consistent.
