Why this happens
Creon 25000 contains digestive enzymes (pancreatin) that work locally in the gut to help break down food. Morphine is an opioid painkiller that works on the central nervous system. These two medications do not share the same metabolic pathways or target the same receptors.
What you should do
You can safely take these two medications together as prescribed by your doctor. However, be aware that morphine can cause constipation, which is a common side effect. If you notice changes in your bowel habits while taking both, speak to your pharmacist or doctor for advice on managing constipation.
