This vibrant broccoli and rapini side dish celebrates the wonderful contrast between sweet and bitter greens. By sautéing the vegetables with plenty of shallots and zesty lemon, the naturally peppery notes of the rapini are beautifully balanced by the rich, buttery sauce. It is a simple yet sophisticated way to elevate everyday greens, offering a burst of fresh flavour and a lovely crunch that works well alongside various main courses.
As a nutritious vegetarian dish, this recipe is perfect for those looking to add more fibre and vitamins to their diet without sacrificing taste. Whether you are serving a Sunday roast or a quick midweek pasta, these citrus-spiked greens provide a bright, zesty lift to the plate. The combination of textures makes it a delightful addition to any seasonal menu.
