This vibrant prawn salsa and avocado salad is a refreshing, high-protein dish that balances punchy flavours with satisfying textures. Inspired by classic coastal flavours, the succulent prawns are tossed in a zesty tomato and fresh coriander salsa, providing a bright contrast to the rich, creamy mashed avocado. The addition of shredded green cabbage provides a fresh crunch, making it an ideal light meal for warm afternoons or a nutritious post-workout snack.
Designed for convenience, these salad jars are perfect for a healthy homemade lunch or an impressive picnic starter. By layering the ingredients carefully and adding the crumbled tortilla crisps last, you keep the flavours distinct and the topping crisp until you are ready to eat. Serve these jars with a few extra crisps on the side for a simple yet sophisticated savoury treat that is both filling and full of zest.
